Izotsha Primary boasts a bigger pool
Staff members will be running a Valentine's Day fund-raiser to raise money for a new laminating machine.
LAST week saw the opening of Izotsha Primary’s newly-extended 25 metre swimming pool and a huge thank you is extended to all who helped to make this extension a reality. A special thanks goes to Lynda Adams for managing and running with this project. Gala swimming heats were held last Tuesday and pupils thoroughly enjoyed swimming extended lengths.
A governing body and staff member braai was held last Wednesday evening and every gr R pupil got the opportunity to ceremoniously pour exactly one litre of water into the ‘new’ pool.
Staff members will be running a Valentine’s Day fund-raiser tomorrow (Friday) to raise money for a new laminating machine required for intermediate and senior phases. Pupils will be allowed to wear civvies to school and buy goods from the cake sale. All pupils have settled well into their new grades.
