PSSP is equipped for emergencies
Parents are encouraged to attend and stand for student governing body elections.
PSSP staff members recently attended a first aid course with a total of 14, who successfully completed the level 1 course, now fully equipped with basic first aid skills. Admin staff member ‘Junior’ Mdlozini is congratulated on completing the level 2 course.
A number of teachers also attended maths and English curriculum workshops last week and it is hoped these workshops will leave them better equipped to deal with curriculum coverage. Such workshops and courses are necessary for the ‘Continuing Professional Teacher Development’ which is a prerequisite of the South African Council of Educators. Teachers can look forward to more workshops in the weeks ahead.
Parents need to note that the term of office of the current student governing board (SGB) will end in March. Like all other schools, Port Shepstone Senior Primary will be electing members for another 3-year term of office. Parents are encouraged to attend and stand for election. A notice to this effect will be circulated.
