PSJP pupils learn fast
Pupils will raise funds for the installation of air conditioners throughout the school.
AFTER only 13 school days, PSJP gr 1 pupils can read 20 words – ten high-frequency words and ten reader words in preparation for ‘readers’ they will soon be taking home. Pupils are thoroughly enjoying swimming lessons and are looking forward to the annual ‘swimathon’ in a few weeks’ time. They are training vigorously for this event to raise funds for air conditioners throughout the school.
A meeting for the election of parent members to the School Governing Body (SGB) has been set to take place in the school hall on Tuesday, March 10 at 5.30pm. Parents are encouraged to avail themselves and attend this important meeting.
Congratulations go to newly-appointed library monitors Amber Vorster, Sbonokuhle Dlamini, Enhle Mntungwa, Lethu Cikwayo, Zemira Appanna and Ayesha Seedat. Rainy Day monitors are Nodi Ncayiyana, Abdullah Olla, Azra Dindar, Jed Surajpersadh, Aphelele Nzimande, Tymia Krishna, Nokuphila Ngilanda, Mbasha Shozi, Zenande Mchunu, Shalin Poonsamy, Kelishka Naidu and Riyadh Khamisa.
