Jai Hind welcomes new team members
The SGB election meeting is scheduled for March 3 at 6pm.
JAI Hind Primary extends a warm welcome to new staff members Nqubeko Mjadu, Nosipho Cele, Ntando Nsele, Ashney Naidoo and Ragina Hariparsad.
The traditional prefect system has been replaced by student peer leaders this year and the committee selected 60 grade 7 pupils out of 120. Co-ordinators Sally Kavanagh and Thembisile Madlala are currently planning a leadership programme at the Teen Ranch in Port Edward for March 12 and 13.
Chosen peer leaders are eagerly awaiting this interesting development course in order to be better equipped to take up leadership roles at the school. Upon their return, a special induction ceremony will be held at school and parents of peer leaders will be informed.
The School Governing Body (SGB) meeting for the election of six parent and three teacher representatives and one staff representative is scheduled for March 3 at 6pm. The school urges all parents to diarise this date and attend this very important election meeting. The school places on record its sincere gratitude to outgoing SGB members.
