TALENTED Sheppie Primary athletes took part in an interschool athletics event hosted by the Department of Education. Pupils represented the school at ward level and three athletes, namely Nelisa Mkhize, Samantha Mpisana and Andile Shange, represented PSP at district level at the Ugu games hosted by the DOE last week. All athletes are congratulated for sterling performances across the three levels of this event.
The school hosted a successful parents’ day and parents were encouraged to support and monitor their children’s
academic progress. Various issues relating to discipline, code of conduct, homework and promotional requirements were discussed.
PSP is a hive of activity with academic work well under way and all teachers busy with formal assessments. These marks will be used for progression at the end of the term.
Last Friday, The Hibiscus Food For Life Programme provided a hot meal for all pupils, who were given a delicious plate of traditional Indian breyani. The coordinators of the programme are thanked for selecting PSP.
