ATHLETES Samkelo Ntuli, Le’mard Pillay, Amahle Mchunu and Cade Woodenberg have once again done Port Shepstone Senior Primary proud by representing the school at the district athletics trials held last week. Four pupils qualified and will represent Ugu District at the KZN primary schools’ athletics championships scheduled for tomorrow, March 6th.
Congratulations to Smilo Zulu for being selected to represent Southern KwaZulu-Natal Cricket at the KZN U11 cricket festival which takes place at Cato Manor in Durban from March 13 – 15. PSSP is proud of this remarkable achievement and wishes Smilo well at the festival.
The U13 cricket teams faced Suid-Natal Primary last week and the U13B team battled against this very strong side. SNP batted first and made 118 runs, whilst PSSP only managed 53 runs and lost the match by 65 runs while the U13A team continued on its winning streak. PSSP batted first, making a competitive 100 runs and Suid-Natal were bowled out for 89 runs. Well done to star batsmen, Ben ‘Junior’ Malamba and Michael Horn.
