Creston College hosts a ‘cook off’

Beth is a 63 year old grandmother and this was a momentous event in her life.

DURING the course of last week, Creston’s college phase hosted a ‘cook off’ for Creston grades 7 and 8 pupils. Gr 11 pupils organised the event and there were several pupils from other local schools who attended.

Pupils were called upon to mix their own ingredients and then prepare a ‘burger meal’ as part of a competition. In the process, teamwork was emphasised and younger pupils had an opportunity to get to know older peers.

Creston College would like to congratulate 63-year old grandmother and college secretary Beth Stott for completing her first Dusi with her son, former Dusi winner, Ant Stott.
