Sheppie High champ Rayne is crowned

PSHS sportsmen and women did extremely well at both the KZN Athletics Championships and the Eshowe Winter Sports Festival.

SHEPPIE High athlete Rayne Redinger was crowned the KZN U17 champion for both the 100m and 200m events at the KZN Athletics Championships at Kings Park last weekend.

Athletes who also won medals were Alu Mbewana (U15 triple jump), Mlu Mabaso (U15 long jump) and Caitlyn Schlehmeyer (U15 3000m). Promising results were recorded by Sara Schmitz (fourth U17 200m) and Kathleen Goodhead (fourth U15 3000m) and Caitlyn Schlehmeyer and Rayne Redinger both walked away with medals.

At the Eshowe Winter Sports Festival, the PSHS first team netball and girls’ hockey teams both won and brought home trophies.
