PORT Shepstone Primary’s gr 4 and 5 pupils went on a fun-filled excursion to Anerley Youth Camp to take part in various team building, leadership and youth development activities. ‘Captain Hurricane’, facilitator of the ‘Commando Course’ set a rigorous endurance course of rope climbing and other exercises.
The valuable message conveyed through song and dance is that a bad attitude yields bad results. To achieve success, pupils must develop a positive attitude to life and all its challenges. Despite the rainy weather, an exhilarating experience was enjoyed at the camp. The school would like to acknowledge the efforts of the team from Anerley Youth Camp and thank it for making this day a memorable one for PSP pupils.
Sheppie Primary has over a thousand pupils and during lunch breaks they spend their time on the school grounds and Kentucky Fried Chicken has generously sponsored benches that are strategically placed under trees to offer shelter and protection against the summer heat.
