Cop arrested for corruption
The officer will be charged with corruption and sexual assault.

A PORT Shepstone police officer (53) was arrested on Wednesday by officers of Port Shepstone Directorate of Priority Crime Investigation (DPCI) Organised Crime Unit.
Police spokesman, Lieutenant-Colonel Zandra Wiid said the officer will be charged with corruption (two counts) and sexual assault (two counts). “He is due to appear in the Port Shepstone Magistrates’ Court today (Thursday). “It is alleged that the officer received payment for promising permanent jobs to reservists during 2012-2013 and 2013-2014. It is further alleged that the sexual assaults also took place during this time,” said Lt-Col Wiid.
Detective Captain Theo Goldstone is investigating the case.
