Teens arrested for murdering man, stealing bicycle
The 20-year-old was stabbed in the forehead and back.
PHUMELELE Mbhele (20) was cycling near Braemar when he was attacked, robbed and stabbed by two young men.
Two 19-year-olds were arrested for the murder in Nzimakwe, near Port Edward, last Sunday.
“The victim was found on the road in Braemar with stab wounds to the forehead and back,” said police spokesman Captain Gerald Mfeka.
“He was rushed to the Ntabeni Clinic, where he died. Later that day, police arrested two teens from Braemar and recovered the stolen bicycle.”
The two men appeared in court on Monday this week and the case was postponed for further investigation. Port Edward police are investigating.
