A FALLING out between two brothers in Nkampini near Southbroom ended with the 48-year-old being killed, allegedly by his younger brother (38).
An argument broke out when the younger brother reportedly swore at their mother. Enraged, the older man lashed out, striking the younger man on the head with an iron rod.
The younger brother struck back, allegedly with a plank, landing a blow which would later prove fatal. The 48-year-old man was taken to the Gcilima clinic by car and was then transferred to hospital where he died on Monday this week.
The 38-year-old was arrested and appeared in the Ramsgate Court on Tuesday this week.
