DURING a Crime Intelligence driven operation, police and public order policing (POP) members arrested a 38-year-old man in Madlala location, Southport last Friday.
He was found in possession of a pistol and four rounds of ammunition, which were hidden underneath his bed.
Police spokesman, Lieutenant-Colonel Zandra Wiid said police also found a vehicle in the yard which had been reported stolen in Umlazi in July this year.
