Boozy binge ends in rape
Police are searching for the man who raped the 36-year-old woman.
A MAN who allegedly raped a woman after a night of drinking at a tavern in Manzamhlophe, in Izingolweni, is on the run.
According to police reports, the 36-year-old woman went to a local tavern with her friend and another man last Saturday at about 11pm.
“It is alleged that the woman became intoxicated and went to the man’s home to sleep,” said police spokesman, Captain Gerald Mfeka.
“The following day, at about 5am, the woman realised she had been raped.”
