Oslo Beach woman robbed at knifepoint
It is believed that the men may have studied her daily routine.
REMEMBER, no matter where you are or what you are doing, criminals are probably watching you.
Yesterday (Thursday) at about 6am a woman opened the door and safety gate of her cottage in North Road, Oslo Beach, to let her dogs out.
She followed this routine this every morning and this had apparently been noticed.
Once she had let her dogs out two men, clad in blue overalls and wearing balaclavas, appeared from around the corner.
“She was pushed back inside the cottage and onto the bed,” said police spokesman, Lieutenant-Colonel Zandra Wiid. “One of the men held a knife to her neck and they demanded money. They took money from the bedroom, but the woman managed to press the panic button and activated the alarm.”
The men fled in the direction of the beach with cash, a cellphone, a laptop and a watch. The woman was not injured.
“People are once again warned to be vigilant,” said Lt-Col Wiid.
