THE two men accused of murdering Pradeep Mahabeer (59) appeared in the Port Shepstone Magistrates’s Court on October 30.
Jean Pierre Haggard (24) and Riaan Marais (27) from Sea Park were denied bail. The case will now be heard at Ramsgate High Court on February 8.
Mr Mahabeer, from Marburg, was reported missing on July 2. He was self-employed as a vendor at Uvongo Flea Market.
His body was found near Umkomaas in August and police arrested two men on charges of murder, kidnapping, theft and robbery.
