Woman raped in Izotsha
The woman was on her way to work when she was forced into the bushes.
A MAN who ambushed and raped a woman while she was on her way to work last Friday has been arrested.
The woman (45) was walking in the Izotsha area when she was forced into the bushes by a man who then sexually assaulted her.
“Police in Port Shepstone responded and started searching for the man,” said police spokesman, Lieutenant-Colonel Zandra Wiid.
Within minutes, police from the Port Shepstone Community Service Centre (CSC), K9 unit, K9 Search and Rescue unit and 10111 call centre apprehended the suspect and he was arrested.
The man will appear in court soon.
