Rape suspect sought by police
He threatened her and kept her overnight while he raped her.
POLICE are searching for man who raped a 19-year-old girl in the St Faiths area on October 15.
According to police reports the teenager was accompanying her friend home when a man known to her began assaulting her with a stick and dragged her to his house.
“He threatened her and kept her overnight while he raped her,” said police spokesman, Lieutenant-Colonel Zandra Wiid. The teen fled in the morning and reported her ordeal to the police.
Police have issued a warrant for the arrest of Phume Mguni (28) and who might be in the KwaMashu area.
