Woman abducted after car crash

A WOMAN (39) was allegedly kidnapped and nearly raped after the vehicle she was in accidentally rolled into her attacker’s.
She was waiting in a parked car for a friend who was in a house in Gcilima, near Southbroom, last Sunday when she mistakenly placed her foot on the clutch. The vehicle rolled forward and slammed into another.
“The driver then forced her into his vehicle,” said police spokesman, Captain Gerald Mfeka.
“He drove to Southbroom were to tried to rape her. He then drove to Mankuntshana Ward near Margate where he kept her in his house for the entire night.”
She was released the next morning and was given money to take a taxi home. The suspect is known to the police and they expect to make an arrest soon.
