JAI HIND’S principal, staff and members of the governing body welcome all pupils and parents to the 2016 academic year. Pupils have been issued with stationery and textbooks for 2016 and have begun work in earnest. Swimming lessons have commenced and pupils are urged to make full use of the facilities and lessons on offer, provided they have a swimming cap, costume and towel.
Peer leaders for 2016 will be attending a leadership course at Teen Ranch in Port Edward on January 28 and 29, accompanied by teachers Sally Kavanaugh and Thembisile Madlala. The course aims to enhance leadership skills that will help them carry out daily duties to the best of their abilities. Induction of the peer leaders will take place on February 12.
