THE fifth season of the popular local reality show The Ultimate Braai Master will follow 13 teams on the journey of a lifetime across the length and breadth of South Africa and will see them put through their paces in a bid to claim the car, the cash and the title of South Africa’s next Ultimate Braai Master.
The first four seasons have seen South Africans from all walks of life compete against each other and this year the stakes are even higher.

Under the guidance and mentorship of the show’s judges, along with bush-cook and host Justin Bonello, the 13 teams will have to prove themselves over the open fire, surviving the unpredictability of the great outdoors, and the all new set of challenges if they hope to get their braai-singed fingers on the top prize.
Season 5’s braai adventure starts in the iconic Garden Route and from here teams will cover thousands of kilometres over 60 days.
