TWO people lost their lives when a truck and a motorbike collided in Marine Drive, St Michael’s at about 11pm last night.
Belinda Catchpole of Kwazulu Private Ambulance said various rescue workers and paramedics worked to stabilise the two people on the motorcycle.
“They were in critical condition and were taken to hospital where they later died,” she said.
Margate SAPS will investigate the accident.
The driver of the truck was not injured.
