Jai Hind peer leaders are ready

Netball practice and matches have been scheduled and will commence this week.

A TOTAL of 51 Jai Hind gr 7 peer leaders went on an overnight excursion to Teen Ranch in Port Edward to develop leadership skills. Pupils experienced an evening bonfire treat performing cultural fusion dances and singing, displaying awesome talent. The course will benefit peer leaders by equipping and preparing them to assist teachers with pupil discipline and control. Sincere thanks to teachers Rajan Rambaran, Sally Kavanaugh, Hilda Balkaran and Nikita Praimlall for accompanying them.

Parents are thanked for attending the gr 7 orientation meeting to discuss curriculum requirements (aligned to the CAPS document) and the annual assessment programme. All outstanding school fees must be settled as soon as possible as funds are urgently required for the day-to-day operation of the school.

Netball practice and matches have been scheduled and will commence this week under the watchful eye of Jackie van der Merwe. Cricket practice has also commenced.
