Creston swimmers break records

The highlight of Creston’s week was the college phase interhouse gala last Friday.

THIS is the first year that Creston College had to split the annual senior primary and college phase galas because of ever-increasing pupil numbers. Once again, Samantha Labuschagne and Bermatt Viljoen broke five records each in their respective age groups, which is an extraordinary achievement. Winning house Eagle also took the spirit cup. Bermatt Viljoen and Samantha Labuschagne were senior victor and victrix ludorum and Andrew King and Ava-Mae Lilje junior victor and victrix ludorums respectively.

The first girls’ hockey team played against Port Shepstone Hockey Club and won 2-1. The first cricket team played against Suid-Natal High and won by four wickets. Keagan Cooper scored 31 runs and Duncan Vroom took four wickets. In the U15 cricket vs Scottburgh, Creston won by nine wickets with Scottburgh all out for 31 runs.
