PSSP inducts leaders

Swimming forms part of life skills and is compulsory.

PSSP held a special assembly last Friday to introduce and induct 46 monitors. The school’s extramural programme also commenced last week and cricket teams look forward to fixtures against Port Edward and Creston College next week. Parents are reminded that the extramural programme runs daily from Monday to Thursday between 2 and 3pm. On days where there are fixtures, pupils are advised in advance of collection times via coaches. Swimming forms part of life skills and is compulsory.

Last Friday the school bade farewell to Laura Hudson, who has served with loyalty and dedication since 1980. Mrs Hudson has accepted a post at Izotsha Primary and will be sorely missed. She is wished all the best in her new position. At the same time, a warm welcome is extended to replacement teacher Claude Nanak who hails from Port Shepstone Primary. Mr Nanak has been a teacher for 25 years.
