PORT Shepstone High is a hive of activity this term with basketball, netball, rugby, hockey, volleyball, cricket, swimming, water polo, athletics and gym in full swing.
Sheppie High cricket teams played against Kuswag recently and the first team won by five wickets. The next match against Creston saw Jarred Ross achieve 132 not out and PSHS won by a massive 214 runs. The U15 team was equally successful, winning its match against Creston by 90 runs with Richard Bornman on 4/1.
At the KZN League 1 athletics meeting held recently, PSHS athletes performed well. Mlungisi Mabaso came first in the U15 long jump (5.61m) and the triple jump (11.85m). Alu Mbewana was placed first in the U17 triple jump (13.07), Caitlyn Schlehemeyer came second in the U17 3000m and Wandile Ngcobo placed second in both the U17 800m and 1500m events.
