PSHS held its academic awards evening last week and pupils who excelled in 2015 received accolades for all their hard work and great results. Samkelo Cele, Sumaya Habib, Rayne Redinger, Shilpa Thomas, Lente Venter and Sadiyah Wahab all received 2015 senior honours. Lente Venter was also awarded subject book prizes for Afrikaans additional language, life orientation, life sciences, and mathematics, and placed first in her grade.
Gr 11 senior full colours were awarded to Aaron Broom, Lupo Futshane, Akhil Jacob, Philile Ncayiyana, Asavela Njonga and Zamagema Sosibo. Gr 10 full colours went to Jarnu Hills, as well as to Kiroshan Naidoo, who also received subject book prizes for accounting, life orientation, mathematics and physical science and placed first in his grade. Amy Jordaan won the subject book prizes for consumer studies and mathematical literacy.
