SOUTHCITY’S first cricket team played against Scottburgh’s first team at Scottburgh last Saturday. Southcity batted first and were 145 all out (Jeandre Michau 34, Jono Francesconi 35, Jason Marx 27). Southcity won the match by 114 runs (Jeandre Michau 5 for 2, Damelin Naidoo 2 for 6).
In the U15 match vs Umhlanga College at Umhlanga College, Southcity bowled first and Umhlanga made 213 runs. Southcity made 176 all out (Gareth Pieterse 55 not out, Cameron Manning 24 ). Umhlanga College won by 37 runs.
