PSJP salutes Philemon

The SGB by-elections for parent members will take place in the school hall on Wednesday, February 24.

PORT Shepstone Junior Primary’s general assistant Philemon Kehla Mbele retired after 38 years of loyal service at the school. A special assembly was held in his honour and the whole school sang to him. Jedidiah Surajpersadh composed a special song and sang it as a tribute. Philemon was thanked for being extremely honest, reliable, dependable, as well as for his consistent friendly demeanour. He looks forward to spending more leisure time with his family and promised to visit the school regularly.

PJSP welcomes teacher Joylene Forbes and teacher’s assistant Lauren Lourens to the staff complement and wishes them a long and happy stay. The school governing body by-elections for parent members will take place in the school hall on Wednesday, February 24 at 5.30pm.
