Samantha Labuschagne recently competed in the SSA Grand Prix Gala for top SA swimmers.

THE Creston College senior school staff and marketing team have been busy promoting the 2017/2018 gr 8 open day today (February 18) at 5 for 5.30pm. All gr 6 and 7 pupils and their parents are invited. Last week was a very busy sporting week and the U13A cricket team scored 101 runs against Margate. Stryda Perry scored 20, Ben Strydom 20 and Nathan Milton 21 runs. Gabriel Wentzel took four wickets for nine runs. Luke Weeks took two wickets for 12 runs in three overs. Margate was bowled out for 78. Well done to Diza Qhiyiya (U18) and Duncan Vroom (U15), who have made it through to the next round of the KZN trials.

Congratulations to Samantha Labuschagne who competed in the SSA Grand Prix Gala (in which all the top SA swimmers take part). She won silver in the 100m freestyle and bronze in the 50m backstroke.
