Jai Hind inducts peer leaders

With leadership skills acquired, newly-elected peer leaders will assist with discipline and control at school.

JAI Hind’s SGB members, senior pupils and staff witnessed 55 gr 7 pupils being inducted as peer leaders, who were delighted to receive their yellow peer leader ties. Principal Jeff Dundraj congratulated them for the supportive role they will play in upholding the school’s code of conduct. The coordinating team comprising Sally Kavanagh, Nikita Praimlal, Ponamma Bridglal and Thembisile Madlala are thanked for overseeing and initiating the induction process.

Port Shepstone Shoprite recently ran a campaign inviting pupils to write an essay or draw a picture of what they want to be when they grow up. Congratulations go to gr 3B pupil Muhammad Farhaan Shaik, who was the lucky winner and walked away with R1 500, which will go towards his school fees for the year.
