Warm welcome for new cubs

They promised to help those in need and to be the best at it

Cubs: Welcomed as new cubs at the Margate Scout Hall recently are (from left) Nate Langenhoven, Trent Owen, Jason Lepan and Seth Langenhoven.

BEING a cub is fun and exciting. Children between seven and 10 learn new things and make new friends. Margate Scouts recently introduced and welcomed four new cubs into its team. The boys were sworn in and promised that they would do good turns to help people and protect the nature around them.

Three cubs said goodbye to their friends and joined scouts where they will learn how to be independent and responsible, to protect the environment and contribute to their communities.
