Swimming heats up at PSSP

Four athletes will represent the Ugu district at the upcoming championships.

PORT Shepstone Senior Primary’s inter-house swimming gala is scheduled for next week and pupils are hard at training for this exciting event. Heats in preparation for the gala are over and parents are reminded that the gala takes place at 2.30pm on February 23.

Athletes have once again done PSSP proud at the Saydi CMC Athletics Championships recently. Lémard Pillay and Sanele Shoba placed first and second respectively in the U13 100m. Amahle Mnchunu took second place in the U13 100m and Cade Woodenberg placed second in the U11 100m event. Well done to these athletes who will represent the Ugu district at the district championships scheduled for February 25.

The school was honoured to host international surfer Heather Clark to the senior assembly last Friday. In her motivational address, Heather talked about some of her achievements and encouraged pupils to follow their dreams with passion and dedication to be successful.
