WOODGRANGE-on-Sea Primary strives to produce well-rounded pupils, motivating them not only academically but also ensuring nutritional needs are met. Recently, principal Dr Maliga Chetty and the pupil support team met with vendors to discuss selling only healthy snacks and food. Pupils are regularly made aware of the importance of healthy eating through speeches and mini-plays during assembly. Poor nutrition leads to poor performance therefore pupils are encouraged to practise good eating habits from an early age. Instead of sugary sweets, pupils now have a variety of healthy, hot food to choose from. Parents are reminded of the compulsory parent meeting this coming Saturday (20th) at 9am.
