IZOTSHA Primary’s junior cricket teams played a number of matches last week, with the first series against Creston College. The U11A team won by four wickets. CJ de Bruin took three wickets and Guy Henderson made fifteen runs, making him the man of the match. The U11B team won by four wickets. Keagan de Koker scored 24 runs and Zack Lawrence took four wickets. The second series was against Suid-Natal Primary and the U11A team won by eight wickets. Guy Henderson again stood out with his batting and CJ de Bruin and Bruce Bormann each took four wickets. The U11B team lost by eight wickets. Greg Botha scored 65 runs. The drama club hosted a successful St Valentine’s Day fund-raiser last Friday.
