PSSP saw an insightful and dynamic play entitled ‘The Web of Deceit’ staged by Productions 2000. Based around honesty, it covered sub-themes like peer pressure, cyber bullying and trust and proved highly appropriate as most pupils face many of these challenges.
The swimming team took part in the interschool relay gala hosted at Southcity last Thursday. Although they did not win, their enthusiasm and competitive team spirit was noteworthy. Kaytin Vorster performed outstandingly.
Everyone is aware of the major traffic congestion after school along Mitchell Drive, especially at the McArthur Drive intersection. The school has communicated with Protection Services, highlighting the fact that many vehicles remain parked for the entire day resulting in chaos when parents arrive. The school further alerted authorities about vehicles obstructing the pedestrian crossing, which endangers pupils. The school eagerly awaits intervention to resolve the situation.
The by-election meeting scheduled for February 17 has been rescheduled for Wednesday, March 9.
