PORT Edward Primary pupils took part in a relay gala at Southcity last Wednesday and did very well. The U11 cricket team played against Margate last Monday and won the match by nine wickets. Minhaas Ayoub took five wickets for four runs. Ruby van der Merwe swam in the KZN level 1 championships and scooped a third place in the 50m butterfly event last Sunday. ‘Scorer girls’ Freya and Scarlet took part in the Burry Stander Mountain Bike School Series recently. Scarlet came first in the 10 to 11 year category and Freya took second place in the 8 to 9 year category.
