Southcity league team gets promoted

The first rugby team made history by beating Suid-Natal High 7-3.

SOUTHCITY had incredible sports results last week. The first cricket team convincingly beat Suid-Natal High by nine wickets and Creston by 106 runs. The U14/15 and the U11 cricket teams beat Creston and Izotsha Primary by nine wickets, respectively. The first netball team beat Creston and Suid-Natal’s B team in fast-five games. The first rugby team made history by beating Suid-Natal High 7-3 and then beat Creston 10-0. The first girls’ hockey team won both matches against Suid-Natal 10-0 and 3-0, putting them in a tie for first place with PSHS in the night series.

The preparatory swimming team came second at the interschools by one point and managed to stay in the lead until the last race. The college team came first in the B-league gala and were promoted to A-league.
