Armed gang raids Margate home
The intruders assaulted the resident with a firearm.
FIVE unidentified men stormed a house in Clifton Road in Margate last Friday evening.
The resident told police that he was attacked by the intruders, two of whom were carrying firearms – a pistol and a revolver – as he entered his home.
The men assaulted the resident with one of the firearms.
Police spokesman, Captain Gerald Mfeka, said the men fled with a TV, cellphones, handbag, cash and a watch.
No arrests have been made so far and police are investigating.
