ROBBERS fled when their victim managed to free herself and chase them off with a gun.
The Ashley Avenue resident and an employee were surprised by two men last Friday morning.
The intruders apparently gained access to the property by scaling the fence.
Scottburgh SAPS communications officer Captain Vincent Pandarum said they tied the two up and stole the resident’s watch.
They then went off to the bedroom to find the woman’s wallet.
Meanwhile, the plucky woman managed to get loose and grabbed a gun from a drawer.
When they saw the armed woman approach, the intruders fled.
