A WOMAN from Manzamhlophe location was raped last Saturday.
The woman (19), who had apparently gone to a local store at about 6pm.
“While walking back home she was confronted by a 23-year-old man who forced her off the road and raped her,” said police spokesman, Captain Gerald Mfeka.
The man fled after raping the woman and was arrested soon afterwards by police.
He appeared in the Izingolweni Magistrates Court on Monday this week and the case was postponed for further investigation.
