MARGATE police are searching for five men who murdered a man for his cellphone at the Margate taxi rank last Saturday.
“Nkosiphendule Bhala (22) of Nkothaneni location near Margate was at the taxi rank when the five men approached him,” said police spokesman, Captain Gerald Mfeka.
“They demanded his cellphone and then stabbed him in the chest. Mr Bhala ran to a nearby parking lot where he collapsed and died.”
No arrests have been made.
