A MAN was killed and his friend seriously injured in a hit and run accident on the N2 at Mbeni ward, Izingolweni last Sunday.
“When police arrived they found the two men lying on the side of the road,” said police spokesman, Captain Gerald Mfeka.
One of the men died at the scene and the other was taken to Murchison Hospital.
It is believed that the men had been run over by a truck travelling from Harding to Port Shepstone.
Police are waiting to speak to the injured man in order to gather more information.
