DETECTIVES are investigating a fraud case after someone’s bank card was swopped at an ATM near Shoprite on  March 4 and later used at another ATM near Dip Spar in Port Shepstone.

The persons in the pictures may be able to assist Detective Warrant Officer Heidi van der Merwe with this investigation.

Police spokesman, Lieutenant-Colonel Zandra Wiid said that the public are once again warned:

* To never accept help from strangers when using an ATM.

* Ensure your card is returned after your transaction.

*Never give your PIN to anyone for any reason – not even a bank official or security personnel.

*Keep personal documents such as your passport, Identity Document and drivers licence in a safe place.

*Do not give out personal information on the phone, through the post or Internet unless you have initiated contacted or know whom you dealing with.
