Glenmore woman (73) robbed
The thief fled taking her handbag which contained her ID, driver's licence, cash and cellphone.
A WOMAN had a frightening experience when she was attacked and robbed at her home in Glenmore near Port Edward last Sunday.
According to police spokesman, Captain Gerald Mfeka, the woman had arrived home from Port Edward at about 7pm.
While she was unlocking the door, a man attacked her from behind.
“When the man grabbed her, the woman began to scream. He fled, taking her handbag which contained her ID, driver’s licence, cash and cellphone,” said Captain Mfeka.
No arrests have been made and Port Edward police are investigating.
