Intruders threaten man with screwdriver
The men escaped with a television, DVD player, cellphone and a handbag containing bank cards and money.
A Barracuta Bend, Pennington resident was threatened with a screwdriver after assailants broke a gate lock to gain entry into his property.
“The complainant was outside when the suspects entered the premises at around 1.30pm,” said Scottburgh SAPS communications officer Captain Vincent Pandarum.
Three intruders pulled the resident into his house after covering his face with his own T-shirt.
“They got away with a television, DVD player, cellphone and a handbag containing bank cards and money,” said Captain Pandarum.
A case of house robbery has been registered by the Scottburgh SAPS for investigation.
No arrests have been made at this stage.
