Durban family robbed in Umzumbe
The victims were asleep in their holiday home when they were awoken by four armed men.
FOUR armed men bound their victims and ransacked their holiday home in Umzumbe last Sunday.
The Durban holidaymakers (aged 23 and 56) were asleep when they were woken by four men, armed with a knife and a firearm, at about 5am.
“Southport police were called to the house in Station Road,” said police spokesman, Lieutenant-Colonel Zandra Wiid.
Personal items such as a laptop, cellphones and clothes were taken before the men fled in the victim’s blue Hyundai sedan with registration number NU 51623.
