SOON after being released from hospital where he was treated for stab wounds, a 37-year-old man was gunned down near Hibberdene last Thursday.
At about 2.40pm the man’s body was found in a field in Qoloqolo with two gunshot wounds, one to the head and one to the arm.
“He was staying in the Malangeni area in Umzinto and had been discharged from hospital in Scottburgh just a few hours earlier,” said police spokesman, Lieutenant-Colonel Zandra Wiid.
