Update: Cape Town man’s murder remains unsolved
Police are on the hunt for a second suspect.
POLICE are still searching for the second suspect supposedly linked to the murder case of Cape Town holidaymaker, Anton Nicholas Els (56).
On July 13, 2015, police were called to Wild Sea Cabanas in Ramsey Avenue, Port Edward, where they found Mr Els’s decomposed body. He had been stabbed multiple times.
Thabo Sukude (31) was arrested for the murder and appeared in the Ramsgate Magistrate’s Court. However, charges were withdrawn against him pending the arrest of the second suspect.
“We have been looking for the outstanding suspect ever since. Once an arrest has been made, the matter will be sent to court again,” confirmed police spokesman, Lieutenant-Colonel Zandra Wiid.
