Drug dealer bust in Gamalakhe

A tip-off led to the arrest.

ELEVEN parcels, containing 3 300 capsules of heroin and 125 Mandrax tablets, were seized by police in Tin Town, Gamalakhe earlier today. were found in the possession of a 34-year-old man in Gamalakhe yesterday (Wednesday) morning.

Police spokesman, Lieutenant-Colonel Zandra Wiid, said Port Shepstone POP members, Constables Mzwakhe Makana,  Raphael Smithwick and  Travis Dickens  acted on information received and arrested a 34-year-old man at a Tin Town house.

The street value of the drugs is estimated to be R151 625.

The man was detained and will appear in court soon.
